Mallow Border

A testament to the Indian art of hand block printing, a fabulous design showcasing intricate patterns influenced by centuries old cultures and traditions.  The design incorporates, flower and foliage meandering trail panels with a central extravagant border of stylised buteh and repeated borders at the selvages. Each pigment printed colour represents a wooden block carved and placed by hand and shows natural variations in pattern, colour and texture which signifies authenticity rather than defects.
