We always love seeing our fabrics in spaces that dare to be different, and the Italian restaurant at INNSiDE by Meliá Manchester is a perfect example. Located in one of the city’s most dynamic and design-led districts, this cosmopolitan hotel is where contemporary British architecture meets Mediterranean warmth. We are proud that our designs play a part in shaping its vibrant interior.
The restaurant’s design is a dreamy blend of colour, texture and mood – and three of our decorative performance fabrics have been used throughout to bring personality and comfort to every seat.
For the booth seating, the team chose Melograno in Mango – a sun-soaked tone that catches the light and brings real depth to the space. With its woodcut-inspired pomegranate motif, Melograno adds rich texture and a warm, intimate energy to the booths. Like all fabrics in this collection, it’s designed for both indoor and outdoor use, with excellent light and colour fastness and a high rub count, perfect for hospitality.
Across the main dining chairs, they opted for Somana in Mermaids Tail – a cool, peaceful blue with a bold horizontal stripe that gives structure and rhythm without dominating the space. It’s a thoughtful, sophisticated choice that pairs beautifully with the restaurant’s use of natural materials and soft lighting.
And for the banquette seating, they chose Vibe in Mint Julep – a crisp, uplifting shade that brings contrast and minty freshness to the overall scheme. It’s playful yet polished, the kind of colour that invites you to settle in and stay a while.
All three fabrics — Melograno, Somana, and Vibe — are part of our Summer Vibes collection: high-performance textiles that marry durability with decorative flair, suitable for both indoor and outdoor furnishings.
